About me
My name is Takanori Kurokawa. After graduating from high school, I studied English and Portuguese at a language institute and spent three years in the United States and one year in Brazil. After returning to Japan, I worked as a freelance translator and interpreter, learning from countless encounters with people from all over the world.

Many international travelers follow the classic “Golden Route,” but Japan’s regional areas offer something much more authentic: untouched scenery, incredible food, unique traditions, fascinating history, and warm, down-to-earth people. That’s why I began my guide service—to share these hidden gems and provide experiences that go far beyond typical sightseeing.
With me, you’ll meet real local people—artisans, chefs, farmers, craftsmen—and hear stories you’ll never find online. Traveling with a true local opens doors that remain closed to ordinary tourists, creating the kind of moments that stay with you long after your trip ends.
As someone born and raised in Kagawa, I would love to show you my home through the eyes of a local—authentic, memorable, and full of heart. I hope you’ll join me for a journey you won’t forget.
