Welcome to Attractive Trip in Shikoku!
I’m Takanori, your local travel coordinator based in Kagawa, offering private tours across all four prefectures of Shikoku. I speak English, Japanese, and Portuguese fluently, and specialize in cruise ship shore excursions and fully tailor-made experiences.
When I was in my teens and twenties, I traveled abroad frequently, living in the United States for three years and in Brazil for one year. Whenever I visited a location, I made sure to not only see the tourist sites but also create opportunities to interact with the local people, enjoy music, create things, and share meals with them. It’s the reality that cannot be glimpsed through guidebooks or the internet, and those experiences remain cherished memories etched in my heart.
I want guests who visit Japan, especially my hometown Kagawa, to have the same kind of experience.
If something seems impossible, I’ll do my best to make it happen. That’s my promise to you.
Kagawa is the smallest prefecture in Japan, but it’s filled with countless treasures—from exquisite craftsmanship, unforgettable cuisine, deep-rooted traditions, inspiring art, and breathtaking scenery. It’s a place so rich in character that one visit is never enough to experience it all.
While Kagawa is my home base, I also guide travelers throughout Tokushima, Ehime, and Kochi—the full Shikoku region and the Setouchi area.

— a journey that’s exciting, reassuring, and full of discovery.
Full-Day Private Tour — from $650 USD
(1–2 guests, approximately 8 hours)
This base rate includes the guide fee, private vehicle and all local transportation (including gas), and coordination of hands-on cultural activities.
Additional Guests: +$120 USD per person
(e.g., a party of 4 = $650 + $120 × 2 = $890 USD total for the day)
Meals: Not included in the base rate. Meal costs vary widely depending on your preferences — from casual local spots to Michelin-listed restaurants — so I will recommend and arrange options that match your budget and taste, with costs shown transparently before booking.
Half-Day Tours and custom itineraries are also available; pricing is quoted individually.
How Pricing Works
Because a private guide and vehicle serve your entire group at once, our pricing is structured per group rather than per person — so traveling with family or friends offers excellent value. The final rate depends on the specific activities, experiences, and any specialty arrangements you choose.
Requesting Your Quote
To design the ideal plan for you, please share your interests and preferred experiences first. I will promptly prepare a personalized, transparent quote — including any meal or activity costs — tailored specifically to your group.
“We had an absolutely fantastic time exploring Kochi with Takanori! He is an incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming guide who went above and beyond to make our trip memorable.
Our itinerary was the perfect mix of adventure and local culture. Kayaking through the beautiful waters was a major highlight, and Takanori made sure we had a blast the entire time. Afterward, he introduced us to some amazing local food and guided us through a fantastic sake tasting experience.”
Jeremías Tablante de Borjas / Iceland

“We had an unforgettable family trip thanks to Takanori’s efficient planning. He guided us to all the popular spots comfortably and even captured beautiful photos for us. If you want to visit multiple highlights in Takamatsu with ease, I highly recommend his services!”
Yong Jin Cho / Korea

“Takanori is a knowledgeable and professional navigator. He took us to the ‘road less traveled’ where we enjoyed the luxury of a true private tour away from the crowds. His warm interaction and thoughtful follow-ups even after the tour were outstanding. He is a true asset to any traveler.”
