Where Would You Take Your Guests?
Hello!
I’m TAKA, and my mission is to share the true charm of Kagawa.
Let me ask you a question.
If guests from overseas came to your town and asked you to show them around, where would you take them?
Famous tourist spots?
Popular local restaurants?
Photogenic locations?
All of these are great choices — and I do take my guests to places like these as well.

My Non-Negotiable Principle
However, there is one thing I always make sure to provide as a guide:
“Human connections” and “stories you won’t find online.”
Today, with AI and the internet, almost any information is easily accessible.
That’s exactly why what truly adds value is the kind of story that can only be told through real, local connections.

Are You Truly Sharing the Essence of a Place?
Let’s say you have a favorite local restaurant.
If you have a personal relationship with the owner, wouldn’t it be a waste to simply say, “This place is good”?
For example:
- The owner personally selects ingredients at the market early every morning
- The careful preparation that ensures consistent quality
- Or even that the ingredients are homegrown
Knowing these details transforms a simple meal into a meaningful experience.

My Strength: Deep Local Connections
I have lived in Kagawa for decades.
Over time, I’ve built strong relationships with local people.
By leveraging this network, I offer people-centered travel experiences that cannot be replicated elsewhere.

Locals Often Overlook Their Own Value
This is something I’ve noticed all across Japan:
The people who live there often don’t recognize the true value of what they have.
For example, I once had wakame seaweed in Iwate.
It was thick, firm, and honestly the best I had ever tasted.
But when I told locals, their reaction was:
“Really? Isn’t that normal?”
In other words, what is part of everyday life is often undervalued.

Seeing Value from the Outside
I, too, only fully realized Kagawa’s value after leaving it.
It was only from the outside that I truly understood:
“Kagawa is actually incredible.”
Having both an insider’s and outsider’s perspective is my greatest strength as a guide.

Delivering a “WOW Experience”
My goal is not just to show places.
It’s to create experiences where you:
- Meet people
- Understand the stories behind what you see
- And leave with lasting memories
That is what I call a “WOW experience.”
